DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales rose 5.8% in September and has risen for six months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.9% in September and has risen for 18 months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria rose 1.6% in September and has risen for three months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.4% in September after being flat in the previous month. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 1.5% in September and has risen for 17 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.3% in September and has risen for eight months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 2.2% in September and has risen for 15 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.2% in September and has risen for nine months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia rose 1.0% in September and has risen for 20 months.
