These data are sourced from the Australian Bureau of Statistics Business Register. This product presents counts of businesses by postcode, state, Industry (ANZSIC Division) and employment size ranges.
These data are based on the postcode and state of the main business address. Therefore, where a business operates in more than one location, that business is only categorised to the postcode and related state or territory of the main business address.
Employment size ranges are non-employing, 0-19, 20-199 and 200+. The actual number of employees is not available.
The data presented in the tables have been confidentialised to ensure no individual business can be identified.
