This publication reports on the trial conducted by the ABS of pooling data from different health surveys conducted in individual States and Territories in order to create national estimates. It provides a background to the project, outlines the methods involved in pooling and diagnostics on the pooled dataset, and reports the national estimates, along with data from the NHS for comparison.
