Summary data from the annual Business Characteristics Survey (BCS) relating to business use of IT and innovation. Data will be available at Industry and Employment Size levels covering topics such as business computer and Internet use; broadband connections; web presence; i-commerce and new goods, services, processes and methods introduced. More detailed estimates will be released later via Business Use of IT ( cat. no. 8129.0) and Selected Characteristics of Australian Business (cat. no. 8167.0). Information provided in the Explanatory Notes must be taken into consideration when interpreting results, particularly if making comparisons to those reported for previous periods.
