NUMBER OF LIVESTOCK EXPORTED

Live exports quarterly original movements for September 2014:

Exports of live cattle
Live cattle exports fell by 10%, to 313,000 head. Of the total cattle exported, 58% or 182,000 were exported to Indonesia and 20% or 58,900 to Viet Nam.

Exports of live sheep
Live sheep exports fell by 1%, to 602,000 head. Of the total sheep exported, 27% or 164,000 were exported to Kuwait, 17% or 105,000 to Bahrain, and 17% or 100,000 to Qatar.
