DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales rose 1.2% in October and has risen for nine months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.1% in October and has risen for eight months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 1.7% in October and has fallen for four months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.3% in October after being flat in the previous month. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland fell 1.3% in October and has fallen for three months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.6% in October and has fallen for six months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 1.3% in October and has risen for three months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.0% in October following a fall of 0.1% in the previous month. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia rose 5.2% in October and has risen for six months.
