Census Fact Sheets are designed to assist in the use and interpretation of Census data. This series of fact sheets in particular provide information regarding Non-response Rates for the 2006 Census compared with the 2001 Census. There is a Non-response Rates fact sheet for each state and territory, Other Territories and Australia in total. They will be released shortly after the first release of data from the 2006 Census and will contain non-response rates for the first release data items. Another series of 2006 Census Non-Response Rates will be released at a later date, and these will cover the non-response rates for the balance of the data items.
