DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales rose 3.0% in March and has risen for three months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.3% in March after falling for 10 months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria rose 0.3% in March and has risen for six months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.3% in March and has fallen for 11 months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 0.5% in March after falling for 13 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 2.0% in March and has fallen for 13 months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia fell 0.1% in March after rising for three months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.4% in March and has fallen for 12 months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia fell 1.9% in March and has fallen for five months.
