THEMATIC MAPS: AUSTRALIA, ORIGIN AND DESTINATION The maps detailed in this section represent the origin of freight and the destination of freight within Australia (interstate) at Statistical Areal Level 4 (SA4 level). For example the figures represented in the ‘Total Tonnes Carried from Origin’ map provide a picture of where the bulk of freight tonnage across Australia originates by SA4 level. Note: These maps represent the results from the 2014 Road Freight Movements, Australia (9223.0) survey, they show the movements in: Total Tonnes Carried, Total Kilometres Travelled and Total Tonne-kilometres Travelled for each state. The figures represented are Origin by SA4 and Destination by SA4.
