THE AUSTRALIAN QUALIFICATION FRAMEWORK (AQF)

The AQF is a quality assured national framework of qualifications covering three sectors of education in Australia - schools, vocational education and training (VET) and higher education. Table 4 (below) provides a brief overview of the Australian Qualifications Framework. This is to give context to references made in this article to levels of educational attainment.
