Media alert - ABS Environmental Report 4602.0 will be released tomorrow

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) will release Environmental Issues, People's Views and Practices (cat. no. 4602.0) tomorrow, Wednesday November 29.

This annual report contains information about household waste management - including recycling and disposal of hazardous waste - motor vehicle ownership and maintenance, and use of private and public transport.

Much of the data is comparable with previous publications going back to 1996 and state breakdowns are provided.
