CONTENTS OF DATA CUBE
This data cube contains estimated and projected populations, components of population change and summary statistics for Australia, the states and territories and capital cities/balances of states for the period 2004–2101 for Australia, and 2004–2051 for the states, territories and capital cities/balances of state.
The components of population change include:
- Start population
- Births
- Deaths
- Natural increase
- Net overseas migration
- Net interstate/internal migration
- Total migration
- Total growth
- End population
The summary statistics include:
- Rates (total fertility rate, standardised death rate, total migration rate, total growth)
- Median age (for males, females and persons)
- Sex and dependency ratios
- Proportion of population aged under 15 years, between 15 and 64 years, 65 years and over, and 85 years and over
