DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales rose 0.1% in April and has risen for eight months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 2.8% in April and has risen for five months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 0.8% in April after rising for nine months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.8% in April and has risen for nine months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland fell 0.8% in April after rising for 12 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.5% in April and has fallen for six months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia fell 2.3% in April and has fallen for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 2.0% in April and has risen for three months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia fell 0.6% in April and has fallen for seven months.
