DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales fell 1.0% in September and has fallen for nine months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.9% in September and has risen for five months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 0.6% in September and has fallen for eight months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.8% in September and has fallen for six months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 0.7% in September and has risen for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.7% in September and has risen for 20 months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 1.3% in September and has risen for four months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.7% in September and has fallen for seven months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia rose 0.9% in September and has risen for four months.
