      This publication is a revision of the original publication released on 22 December 2004. It contains amendments to the following errors:

      These amendments are available free of charge in the corrigendum published on the 11/02/2005.

      • Table 5 on page 14 - the figure for total persons with an unpaid involvement in 'Music' was understated.
      • Table 10 on page 20 - the figures for 'Performing arts performer' and 'Teaching' were overstated.
      • Table 12 on page 21 - the figures for 'Art and craft' were understated for 'Work' and overstated for 'Hobby activity only' and 'Persons'.
      • The error in Table 12 also affects text in the summary of findings. The first sentence of the last paragraph on page 7 which states: "There were almost 3.2 million persons who were involved in art and craft as a hobby activity only" should read: "There were 2.5 million persons who were involved in art and craft as a hobby activity only".

      Note: Other figures in the above tables, and figures in other tables and text are not affected.
