Two additional Excel data cubes and one additional Supertable data cube containing estimated resident populations for Statistical Local Areas and Local Government Areas as at 30 June for all years from 1996 to 2006 were added to this issue on 19 August 2008. These contain the final estimates for each year, based on the 2006 edition of the Australian Standard Geographical Classification. More information about the differences between these estimates and the preliminary estimates contained in earlier data cubes included with this issue is provided in Explanatory Notes included within the two final Excel data cubes.
