It continues to build on ABS’ commitment to ensuring recognition and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, increasing the recruitment and retention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and continuing to build positive relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other Australians. The RAP also clearly sets out responsibilities and accountabilities of employees for supporting this Plan and helping ABS achieve its objectives for reconciliation.
