SCHOOLS, AUSTRALIA RELEASE 2017
The 2017 iteration of Schools, Australia (cat. no. 4221.0) has been consolidated into one single release to support stakeholder requirements and maintain relevance of the 2017 data through its timely dissemination.
In 2017 there were 32 students whose biological sex was reported as neither male nor female. These records have been confidentialised to minimise the risk of identifying individuals in the aggregate statistics. More information on treating aggregate data is available from ABS Confidentiality Series, Aug 2017 (cat. no. 1160.0).
Data dissemination includes:
§ Student data cubes, analysis and supporting documentation
§ Staff data cubes, including student to teaching staff ratios
§ School data cubes,
§ Student-related measures such as apparent retention rates, and summary tables
Data cubes are published as Microsoft Excel pivot tables, and have been produced to show the current time series where appropriate. The pivot tables facilitate disaggregation of the data. Earlier years, where available, can be found in previous publications under Past and Future Releases of Schools, Australia.
Summary tables incorporate data previously published in PDF format.
