There were no statistically significant differences in the prevalence of disability due to a mental health condition between victims aged 18 to 34 (10.7%), 35 to 49 (13.4%), and 50 years and over (10.1%). Similarly, in the general population, there were no significant differences in the prevalence of disability due to a mental health condition between the age groups. When comparing victims and non-victims, the proportion of victims aged 18 to 34 and 35 to 49 with a disability due to a mental health condition (10.7% and 13.4% respectively) was over double the proportion of 18 to 34 and 35 to 49 year olds who were not victims and had a disability due to a mental health condition (4.3% and 5.2% respectively).
