The datacubes for this reissue contain the same 2006 Census tables that were originally released. However a number of changes have been made to formats and additional footnotes added in order to clarify data items and improve user understanding. The only exception is:

    • Table 11 Educational Institution Attended, by Remoteness Areas and Age Groups, which has amended totals to reflect only those age groups who would be attending such an institution, that is ages 3 years and over.

The Summary table has also been amended in the following areas:
    • Education - in 'Attending', 'Other' and 'Total' now include those persons attending an educational institution where attendance is known but the type of institution is not stated
    • Occupied private dwellings - excludes non-classifiable and visitor only households
    • Rented - 'Other' has been removed from 'Private' and is now a separate category
