DWELLING UNITS APPROVED The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales fell 3.2% in May and has fallen for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.6% in May and is now showing falls for four months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 1.1% in May and has fallen for seven months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.1% in May and is now showing falls for two months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland fell 0.8% in May and has fallen for the last seven months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.6% in May and has fallen for seven months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 2.0% in May and is now showing rises for four months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.5% in May and is now showing rises for 23 months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total dwelling units approved in Western Australia fell 2.4% in May and has fallen for five months.
