Highlights recent and forthcoming releases, provides comments on census data and advises of user forums. This edition of Census Update goes behind the scenes of the planning for the 2006 Census, which is now less than a year away. It looks at the recent Census Dress Rehearsal, the latest on the Census Data Enhancement proposal, the new Census logo and Data Processing Centre and provides details of the upcoming Census user consultation sessions and Mesh Block launch. Census Update also contains information about upgrades to the ABS web site, including the introduction of free publications and how the ABS is making finding data even easier.
