(Media Release)	VALUE OF BUILDING APPROVED NEW RESIDENTIAL BUILDING The trend estimate for the value of new residential building approved rose 1.4% in March 2010 and has risen for 13 months. ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS TO RESIDENTIAL BUILDING The trend estimate for the value of alterations and additions to residential building rose 0.5% in March and is now showing rises for two months. NON-RESIDENTIAL BUILDING The trend estimate for the value of non-residential building approved rose 1.4% in March. The trend estimates for the value of non-residential building approved should be interpreted with caution. See the data notes on page 2 of this publication.
