DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales rose 1.5% in January and has risen for 24 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 2.3% in January and has risen for 22 months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria rose 1.4% in January and has risen for eight months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 3.2% in January and has risen for seven months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 2.6% in January and has risen for 24 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.2% in January and has risen for 11 months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 2.7% in January and has risen for 19 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 2.8% in January and has risen for 19 months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia rose 0.7% in January and has risen for 25 months.
