About this Release	ABOUT THIS RELEASE A brief overview of the differentials in prevalence, asthma management and quality of life of people with current and long-term asthma, using data from the 2001 ABS National Health Survey. The article also draws on mortality rates from the 2002 ABS Causes of Deaths collection. Information from outside sources are used to provide information on predisposing, causal and contributing factors, protective factors and hospitalisations due to asthma.
