This information paper presents a draft of the Harmonized Tariff Item Statistical Code (HTISC, also known as the Customs Tariff) statistical codes to be updated on 1 January 2012 resulting from an update to the international harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (HS). It provides a brief background to the proposed changes and how to provide comments on the draft.
