Ratings distributed by enduring goal Table 5: Average reported rating of importance and need met for existing statistical assets
The majority of stakeholders reported that the statistical assets they were using were either important or critical to their work program. On average, the statistical assets being used to inform goals 1, 4 and 5 were rated as more critical than assets informing the other goals. Table 5 shows that the average ratings of needs met across all enduring goals ranged between 3.9 and 4.6. This shows that information needs were partly or mostly met, but highlighted opportunities for targeted improvement. Needs were not as well met for goals 1, 2 and 4. Goals 1 and 4 were also rated with high importance levels by the stakeholders working in the fields associated with these enduring goals. Overall, the statistical assets informing goals 1,4 and 5 are slightly more important than those for Goal 3 and much more important than those for Goal 2. Also, the information needs are largely met for all goals, but are slightly less well met for goals 1 and 4 in comparison to the importance of the statistical assets.
