AGGREGATE MONTHLY HOURS WORKED TREND ESTIMATES Part time The trend estimate of aggregate monthly hours worked by part time workers generally rose from 168 million hours in May 2001 to 187 million hours in March 2003. The trend then fell to 186 million hours in August 2003 before generally rising to 238 million hours in May 2011. TOTAL The trend total aggregate monthly hours worked followed a similar pattern to that of full time workers. It generally rose from 1,315 million hours in May 2001 to 1,565 million hours in July 2008 before falling to 1,532 million hours in June 2009.
