2008 Australian Population Association Conference (30 June–3 July: Alice Springs NT)
The 14th biennial conference of the Australian Population Association (APA) will be held from Monday 30th June to Thursday 3rd July 2008 at the Alice Springs Convention Centre. The Australian Statistician, Brian Pink will give the Borrie lecture on the Monday. Plenary sessions and speakers include:

The Demography of Australia's Northern Neighbours: Professor Brenda Yeoh – National University of Singapore, Dr John Bryant – Mahidol University, Thailand
