Number of Dwelling Units Approved, By Greater Capital City Statistical Area - Original Building approvals data for Greater Capital City Statistical Areas (GCCSA) are classified to the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS), 2016 Edition (cat. no. 1270.0.55.001), effective from July 2011. GCCSA data from July 2001 to June 2011 is classified according to the 2011 edition of the ASGS. Users wanting to understand the geographic changes to boundaries in the ASGS in more detail can view the boundaries in ABS Maps. This is an online mapping tool that allows users to compare two different sets of boundaries across different editions of the ASGS.
