BUILDING APPROVALS AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for Australia fell 1.9% in November. In seasonally adjusted terms the estimate fell 12.7% to 17,124 dwellings. NUMBER OF PRIVATE SECTOR HOUSES The trend estimate for private sector houses approved was flat in November. In seasonally adjusted terms the estimate fell 0.5% to 9,321 houses. NUMBER OF PRIVATE SECTOR DWELLINGS EXCLUDING HOUSES The trend estimate for private sector dwelling units excluding houses fell 3.6% in November. In seasonally adjusted terms the estimate fell 23.0% to 7,724 dwellings. VALUE OF NEW RESIDENTIAL BUILDING The trend estimate for the value of new residential building approved fell 1.3% in November and has fallen for eight months. VALUE OF ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS TO RESIDENTIAL BUILDING The trend estimate for the value of alterations and additions to residential building fell 0.5% in November and has fallen for six months.
