NORTHERN TERRITORY In remote areas the principle difference between the ASGC and the ASGS is associated with the exclusion of small SLAs at the SA2 level. For example, the communities of Timber Creek, Yarralin, Pigeon Hole and Daguragu are delineated as 2006 SLAs due to their status as Community Government Council (CGC). In the ASGS structure these areas are not of sufficient population size to be defined as SA2s and are therefore incorporated within the SA1 geography.
