EMPLOYED PERSONS TREND ESTIMATES MALES EMPLOYED FULL TIME The trend estimate for males employed full time generally rose from 4,206,500 in November 1996 to 4,400,000 in August 2000, before falling to 4,334,200 in June 2001. The trend has then generally risen to stand at 4,793,900 in November 2006. MALES EMPLOYED PART TIME The trend estimate of males employed part time rose steadily from 556,200 in November 1996 to 771,400 in October 2002. After a period of relatively slow growth, the trend has again risen to stand at 864,200 in November 2006. EMPLOYED FEMALES TOTAL The trend estimate of employed females rose from 3,635,100 in November 1996 to 4,242,200 in March 2003, with strong growth in late 2002. The trend estimate then fell to 4,226,900 in July 2003, before rising to stand at 4,631,300 in November 2006. FEMALES EMPLOYED FULL TIME The trend estimate of females employed full time generally rose from 2,075,300 in November 1996 to 2,266,800 in March 2001. The trend then fell to 2,215,700 in January 2002, before generally rising to stand at 2,554,900 in November 2006. FEMALES EMPLOYED PART TIME The trend estimate of females employed part time rose steadily from 1,559,800 in November 1996 to 1,953,300 in April 2003. The trend then decreased to 1,927,200 in December 2003, before generally rising to 2,073,900 in October 2005.
