AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY
- In 2016-17, the SA2 with the largest population increase in the Australian Capital Territory (in terms of absolute numbers) was Moncrieff (up by 870 to reach 970 people) in the north. Other areas with large growth included Kingston (670) on the south-eastern banks of Lake Burley Griffin, the newly-developed western suburb of Coombs (650) and Lawson (550) in the north.
- Coombs was the fastest-growing SA2 in the Australian Capital Territory in 2016-17, up by 34%. This was followed by the neighbouring SA2 of Wright (15%), and Kingston (14%).
