These chapters are included in the publication only when new data are available. Two tables: 'Employed persons, by industry (ANZSIC06) and Major Statistical Region' and 'Estimates of unemployment rate, by Local Government Area' have been added to the work and income chapter. The section on average weekly earnings has been omitted from the work and income chapter. Please refer to Average Weekly Earnings, Australia (cat. no. 6302.0). A review has led to minor revisions being made to three tables: the table in the population chapter, and the two tables in the state final demand chapter. EXPLANATORY NOTES The statistics shown are the latest available as at 31 October 2008. Explanatory Notes in the form found in other ABS publications are not included in State and Regional Indicators, Victoria. Readers are directed to the Explanatory Notes contained in related ABS publications. Users are advised that small area estimates presented in this publication should be used with caution.
