CONSULTATION PROCESS
Key producers, users and custodians of statistics in Commonwealth, state and territory governments were invited to highlight opportunities and barriers which existed around Australia’s statistical infrastructure and areas where improvement would give the most benefit.
The ABS made use of existing forums and user groups, particularly within the states and territories, to garner the broadest possible base of feedback within a two month window between June and July 2015. The Commonwealth and state and territory departments and agencies that contributed to ESI are listed in Appendix A.
