DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales fell 1.4% in July and has fallen for six months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.8% in July and has risen for four months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 1.9% in July and has fallen for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.1% in July and has fallen for four months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 2.2% in July and has risen for three months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.4% in July after rising for 17 months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia fell 1.7% in July and has fallen for seven months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 2.9% in July and has fallen for five months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia rose 0.3% in July and has risen for three months.
