DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales rose 4.3% in January and has risen for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.8% in January and has fallen for five months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria rose 0.5% in January and has risen for seven months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.1% in January and has risen for six months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 2.6% in January and has risen for four months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.5% in January and has risen for 24 months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia fell 2.3% in January and has fallen for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.6% in January and has fallen for 11 months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia fell 1.3% in January and has fallen for three months.
