DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales fell 3.9% in February 2012 and has now fallen for 5 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 2.0% in February and has now fallen for 5 months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 1.7% in February and has fallen for 16 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.2% in February and has now fallen for 26 months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 1.5% in February and has now risen for 4 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 2.9% in February and has now risen for 6 months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 0.1% in February after declining for the previous 10 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 2.0% in February and has now fallen for 9 months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia fell 0.8% in February and has now fallen for 7 months.
