Contains data from the 1994 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Survey to describe Australia's Indigenous 15-24 year-olds. The data are presented in an easy-to-read format which mixes text, tables and graphs. Topics covered include family and culture, health, housing, education and training, employment and income, and law and justice. Summary data are provided on Indigenous youth for each State and Territory and each Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission region. Where possible, comparisons are made between Indigenous youth and older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and with all Australian 15-24 year olds. Data on Indigenous 13 and 14 year olds are included where appropriate.
