DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales fell 0.5% in May after rising for eight months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 2.3% in May and has risen for six months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria rose 1.1% in May and has risen for 11 months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.2% in May and has fallen for three months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland fell 2.1% in May and has fallen for three months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 1.3% in May and has fallen for seven months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia fell 3.8% in May and has fallen for six months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.7% in May and has risen for four months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia rose 0.4% in May and has risen for two months.
