Presents detailed information from the annual Motor Vehicle Census collection. It includes details about vehicles registered in Australia such as type of vehicle, make, model, and year of manufacture. The product uses new software from GSP (Geographic Statistics Platform), so data can be produced by several geographic classifications (e.g. postcode, SLA, SSD etc). A mapping module is part of the software. Users may obtain information for one or more States as well as for Australia. The product is expected to be released annually, coinciding with the release of the Motor Vehicle Census publication (Cat. No. 9309.0).
It is available on CDROM and includes software which allows users to produce a large variety of tables.
