This paper presents information from the Death registrations to Census linkage project 2011-12, which was conducted as part of the broader Census Data Enhancement project. It includes an examination of differences in the reporting of Indigenous status in death registrations compared with Census records. Analyses are presented by selected characteristics such as state or territory and remoteness area of usual residence, age at death and educational attainment.
