DWELLING UNITS APPROVED STATE TRENDS The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in New South Wales fell 2.6% in May and has fallen for three months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.4% in May and has risen for four months. VICTORIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Victoria fell 3.9% in May and has fallen for four months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 0.2% in May and has risen for five months. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Queensland rose 2.2% in May and has risen for five months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses fell 0.9% in May and has fallen for six months. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in South Australia rose 1.6% in May and has risen for seven months. The trend estimate for the number of private sector houses rose 1.0% in May and has risen for four months. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for total number of dwelling units approved in Western Australia fell 3.7% in May and has fallen for six months.
