The latter shows the table names and numbers of the equivalent tables in the hard copy publication. These files cover a wide range of demographic statistics, but do not provide detailed pictures of every area. Further data sources are listed in the worksheets "List of Tables" in each file. The large majority of the extra data is held under the 'Demography' section of AusStats. Tables Summary of Demographic Data: demographic indicators (population size, births, deaths, migration, marriages and divorces) for all states and territories, 31 December 2001. Sub-State Areas: estimated resident population, births and deaths data (including life expectancy) to statistical local area level in South Australia, 2001. Population: estimated resident population of South Australia, 30 June 2001. Shows growth rates, population by age and sex, projections of the population and of numbers and types of households. Births: registered births to mothers who are usual residents of South Australia, 1991 and 1996-2001. Includes data on age of parents, total fertility rates, sex of births, Indigenous births, nuptiality and plurality. Deaths: registered deaths of usual residents of South Australia, 1991 and 1996-2001. Contains data on age at death, leading causes of death, and expectation of life at single ages. Migration: estimates of overseas and interstate migration, South Australia 1991 and 1996-2001. Please note that complete data on overseas migration are not yet available for 2001; however, estimates of net overseas migration are given. Marriages: registered marriages in South Australia in 1991 and 1996-2001. Contains aggregates of age and sex of marrying couples, as well as data on previous marital status and wedding rites. Divorces: decrees absolute of dissolution of marriage granted in the Adelaide Registries of the Family and Magistrates Courts in 2001.
