AGGREGATE MONTHLY HOURS WORKED TREND ESTIMATES FEMALES The trend estimate of aggregate hours worked by females rose from 318 million in August 1985 to 400 million in July 1990. The trend then fell slightly to 390 million in November 1992 before generally rising to stand at a high of 592 million in July 2008. The trend then fell to 585 million in August 2009. PERSONS The trend estimate of total aggregate hours worked rose from 1,005 million in August 1985 to 1,176 million in June 1990. The trend then fell to 1,128 million in November 1992. After a small peak in February 2000 the estimates generally rose to stand at a high of 1,551 million in July 2008. The trend then fell to 1,511 million in August 2009.
