3222.0 Population Projections, Australia, 2012 (base) to 2101 — Time Series Spreadsheets

These datasets contain population projections for the three main projection series for the period 30 June 2012 to 2101 for Australia, and 30 June 2012 to 2061 for the states and territories.

The three main projection series are referred to as Series A , B and C where Series A assumes high fertility, high life expectancy, high NOM and large interstate flows, Series B assumes medium fertility, medium life expectancy, medium NOM and medium interstate flows and Series C assumes low fertility, medium life expectancy, low NOM and small interstate flows.

Figures for 30 June 2012 are preliminary estimated resident population figures. Figures for all later years are projections.

For Australia, data is provided by sex and single year of age (up to 100 years and over). For the states and territories, data is provided by sex and single year of age (up to 85 years and over).
