CORRECTION Net Overseas Migration data for the December quarter 2013 has been updated due to a processing error (corrected downwards by 795 people at the national level). UPCOMING CHANGES TO DATA PRESENTATION FORMATS From 2015, Australian Demographic Statistics (cat. no. 3101.0), Migration, Australia (cat. no. 3412.0), Regional Population Growth, Australia (cat. no. 3218.0) and Population by Age and Sex, Regions of Australia (cat. no. 3235.0) will cease releasing data in SuperTable format. Data from these products will continue to be available in Excel spreadsheets and in ABS.Stat - an interactive and free online tool that presents data in a searchable, flexible and dynamic way. CHANGES IN THIS ISSUE An additional table containing an estimate of the number of households for each state, territory and Australia based on the 2011 Census has been published in this issue - see Table 19. REGIONAL INTERNAL MIGRATION ESTIMATES The ABS is currently developing a new ongoing series of Regional Internal Migration Estimates (RIME) based on the Australian Statistical Geography Standard, including SA2s and LGAs. The first release of this series will be for the period 2006-07 to 2012-13, with an anticipated release in late 2014 or early 2015. Annual updates are then expected from 2013-14. Subsets of the new RIME series will be available on the ABS website in Migration, Australia (cat. no. 3412.0). RECENT AND UPCOMING RELEASES Population by Age and Sex, Regions of Australia, 2013 (cat. no. 3235.0) - released 28 August 2014. Births, Australia, 2013 (cat. no. 3301.0) - to be released 23 October 2014. Deaths, Australia, 2013 (cat. no. 3302.0) - to be released 6 November 2014. Life Tables, States, Territories and Australia, 2011-2013 (cat. no. 3302.0.55.001) - to be released 6 November 2014.
