2. Aims of the Paper
With the development of technology, in particular the Internet, and the growing sophistication of the user community, the ABS has recast its range of products and services for the 2011 Census.
Operations for the release of results from the 2011 Census are well underway. The range of data that will be made available as standard Census output will be expanded.
The ABS received a lot of valuable feedback from clients about the 2006 products and many suggestions for how we can make them better for 2011.
The purpose of this paper is to:
- inform users of changes to 2011 Census data concepts and classifications
- outline the 2011 output product range and associated pricing policies
- confirm key release dates for the full range of 2011 Census output products.
