A premier publication of the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) - Australian Social Trends (AST) - will now be available electronically on a quarterly basis from the ABS website on <www.abs.gov.au>.

AST will next be released in three weeks time on Wednesday 25 March 2009.

As a quarterly analysis of Australian society, AST provides a rich source of story material for both news and feature writers.

Future AST release dates are:
June 2009
September 2009
December 2009
